Wilkes Barre - Early Intervention for Infants and Toddlers
Provides services and supports designed to help families with children who have developmental delays or disabilities. Services can include: information about how children develop; parent or caregiver education; family supports; and developmental and instructional therapies. Early Intervention is individualized and provides supports to the child and family in the home or in the community.
Eligibility: Infants and toddlers from birth to 3 years with a developmental delay.
Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm

Fee Amounts: Early Intervention services and supports are provided with no insurance involvement and at no cost to the family.
Intake Procedure: Contact an Early Intervention Program Specialist.
Intake Requirements: Each child referred for an evaluation shall receive a timely, comprehensive Multi-Disciplinary Evaluation (MDE) and a family-directed assessment of the needs of the child and family to assist with the child's development.
