Women Against Abuse
Philadelphia - Community Education and Prevention
Promotes awareness of intimate partner violence, challenges prevalent stigma, and trains the community to intervene in the cycle of abuse. Works with students and homeless/ runaway youth to promote healthy relationships through the Safety Awareness For Every Relationship (S.A.F.E.R.) program. Also trains first responders and professionals to screen for signs of abuse and to support individuals experiencing intimate partner violence.

Helpful Tips: Workshops can be provided in-person or virtually. Virtual participants will need a computer or tablet with internet access.

Trainings are offered for groups of 4 or more (no maximum), and not on an individual basis.

Workshops vary in length from 90 minutes to 2 hours; workshops for schools are approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour.
