Provides an emergency shelter, a toll-free crisis hotline (call or text), individual and/or group counseling, and support groups for adults and children. Offers legal advocacy (including obtaining a Protection From Abuse Order), systems advocacy, children's program, information and referral, and accompaniment to court-related proceedings.

Intake Procedure: For Shelter: Call 211 for screening into shelter system, Monday through Friday, 9:00am to 4:00pm (evening and weekend referrals not available) OR Visit the Cumberland County Access Site at Community CARES, 50 West Penn Street, Carlisle, PA 17013, Hours of Operation: Tuesday through Saturday, 12:00pm to 5:00pm.
