Ombudsman, Mediation, and Advocacy Services
Investigates and finds resolution to complaints about nursing facilities and personal care homes. Provides answers to questions about billing and charges, including those covered by Medicare and Medicaid. Supports appeals regarding transfers, discharges, discontinuance, or changes in service.
Eligibility: Adults age 60 and older who are residents in Nursing Facilities, Personal Care, and Assisted Living Homes and participants at the Adult Day Care centers and Life Programs
