Abuse Counseling
Provides trained advocates that provide supportive listening and short-term counseling to help explore and consider options. They also provide information and referrals to other agencies where more help is available. Child care is provided while parents are learning to help themselves. Counseling is also available for victims under 18 whose lives have been affected by sexual assault and/or violence in the home. There are support groups and special activities for younger children.
Eligibility: Must identify as a survivor of domestic violence, sexual assault, or other crimes; or identify as the child or significant other of a survivor of domestic violence, sexual assault, or other crimes.
