Family Services - Delegate Services/Emergency Services
The provision of emergency related activities and administrative functions undertaken to proceed after a petition for voluntary or involuntary mental health commitment has been completed. This includes bed searches, emergency transportation and legal functions related to the commitment process.
Eligibility: Individuals with mental illness who are unwilling to consent to treatment and have recently exhibited dangerous behavior (i.e., specific acts, attempts or threats which constitute a substantial risk of physical harm to the person him or herself and/or to another.) Serves Tioga County residents only.
Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 4:00pm, after hour on call system
