Rural Transportation for Persons with Disabilities
Provides paratransit shared-ride service that can be utilized for work, church, shopping, medical appointments, etc.
Eligibility: Any Washington County resident with a qualifying disability between the ages of 18 and 64 and in need of transportation in the areas that are not currently served by the fixed route bus and/or ADA complementary paratransit service, is eligible for the PWD Program.
Hours: Shared Ride Service: Monday through Saturday, 5:00am to 8:00pm; Office Hours: Monday through Friday, 7:30am to 5:00pm

Intake Procedure: Call or visit the website and an application will be mailed to you. You may also pick up an application at our office
Intake Requirements: Written verification of disability from a qualified source such as OVR, SSI, SSD, or a physician must be submitted with completed application.
Geographical Area: Washington County
Helpful Tips: Shared Ride Service, you must be registered for a program before scheduling a trip. Trips must be scheduled one day in advance before 12:00 PM. For trips on Monday, you must call the previous Friday before 1:00 PM. Reservations can be made up to 14 days in advance.
