Hermitage - Family Based
Provides mental health services to children and adolescents. Prevents psychiatric hospitalization or out of home placement for the child who is at risk and in need of an intensive level of service. The primary goal is to enable parents to care for their children at home. The program seeks to strengthen the family unit, improve coping skills, teach family members to care for the child and serve as an advocate. A voluntary service to the family and requires the agreement of the parent or guardian. Services are delivered in the home by a team of trained mental health professionals who work in partnership with the parents of the child.
Eligibility: Children and adolescents through age 20
Hours: Flexible according to child/family needs.
