Administrative Headquarters and Food Pantry - Holiday Food Basket Distributions (Thanksgiving/Christmas 2024 and Easter 2025)
Provides special holiday food distributions for clients of the Cresson Food Pantry.
Eligibility: Serves individuals and families in the Penn Cambria School District with incomes at or below 185% of the federal poverty guideline. Must be a member of the Cresson Food Pantry to apply for holiday basket distributions.
Hours: Distributions for holiday food baskets on Thursdays, 9:00am to 12:00pm

Fee Amounts: Services provided free of charge.
Intake Procedure: Visit in person during the two months prior to each holiday to sign up for a voucher/ticket to receive a holiday food distribution on the Monday prior to the holiday.

For Thanksgiving/Christmas basket, apply by Thursday, November 7, 2024.

Call for Easter Food Basket application cutoff date.
Intake Requirements: Proof of identity, residence, and income.
Geographical Area: Serves the Penn Cambria School District (Ashville, Cresson, Dysart, Gallitzin, and Lilly).
Helpful Tips: Applicants must first be clients of the Cresson Food Pantry. There may be some baskets leftover from no-shows, but the pantry strongly recommends registering to reserve a holiday basket.
Facility/ADA Access: Not fully-accessible. Individuals unable to navigate stairs may sign up a proxy to pick up their food.
