Butler - Seed to Supper Gardening Class
Offers a five week gardening class that teaches participants how to start and maintain their own backyard gardens. The class series covers soil preparation, seed starting, pest management, ongoing plant care, and harvesting. Participants will receive a set of basic gardening tools as part of the class series.
Eligibility: Opent to Butler County residents.

Scholarships are available for clients whose household income is at or below 200% of the federal poverty guidelines.
Hours: Office Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:30am to 4:30pm
Classes: Monday nights beginning at 6:00pm at Hillcrest Baptist Church, 771 Mercer Road, Butler PA.

Fee Amounts: S80 ($50 instruction fee + $30 lab fee). Scholarships available.
Intake Procedure: Call to schedule an intake/registration appointment or to request an application.

Intakes can be done in person, or through the mail. Registration is also available through Eventbrite.
Intake Requirements: For scholarship clients, an intake application, food security matrix, and proof of all household income is required. Clients will be screened for referral to other food programs.
