determined by household size, monthly income, and whether any
members of the household are 60 or older or have a disability.

Apply Online using the COMPASS Website (linked in the intake
website) or mobile app.
In Person: at the local County Assistance Office.
On Paper: Download the application on the website and return it by mail.

Intake Requirements:
Photo ID, Social Security Number, and documentation of income and
resources.
Geographical Area:
Service available in all of Pennsylvania. Clients must contact the
office in the county where they live (even if another county's
office is closer to their residence).
Helpful Tips:
There is a simplified SNAP application available to use if everyone
in the household:
1) Is age 60 or older or has a disability
2) Purchases and prepares food together
3) Does not receive any earnings from work
