Administrative Headquarters - Persons with Disabilities Program (PwD)
Provides shared ride service for persons who have a disability and are ages 18 to 64, living in Westmoreland County, and needing transportation to or from an area not served by existing transportation services.
Eligibility: Westmoreland County residents, ages 18 to 64, who have a disability as defined by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
Hours: Office Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 4:00pm.

Monday through Friday, 7:00am to 7:00pm
Saturday, 7:00am to 4:00pm

Fee Amounts: Fares are based on one-way trips and range from $4.00 to $12.00
Intake Procedure: Call to request an application form by mail or print and complete the Persons with Disabilities Transportation Application from the intake website.

Intake Requirements: The application must be completed by both the applicant or a representative for the applicant and by the medical professional that treats the applicant's disability. When completed return to GO Westmoreland by mail or fax.
Geographical Area: Westmoreland County
Helpful Tips: Outbound trips must originate in Westmoreland County; destinations may also include a 5 mile "buffer zone" outside the Westmoreland County borders.

Travel to the Pittsburgh area is limited. Travel to the Pittsburgh area is permitted Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, with an arrival time of 9:00 AM and a departure time of 2:00 PM - 3:00 PM.

Trips require advance reservation. You may schedule a trip as far ahead as two weeks in advance. The latest that you can call to arrange a ride for the next day is at least one business day in advance before 12:00pm. For trips on Saturday or Monday, the latest you can call to arrange a ride is Friday before 12:00pm.
