Administrative Headquarters - Medical Assistance Transportation Program (MATP)
Provides eligible clients with transportation in one of the following ways:
A) Public Fixed-Route Bus - Bus tickets will be provided to passengers who live on or near the bus routes, and appointments should be scheduled according to the bus schedules.
B) Mileage Reimbursement - Access to a private vehicle (client's or client's family member).
C) Shared-Ride Paratransit Service - Public Fixed-Route is unavailable and no access to a vehicle.

GO Westmoreland will provide transportation to and from qualified Medicaid enrolled providers who are generally available and used by other members of the community or locality in which you are located. Please note that GO will not provide trips that are less than ¼ mile.
Eligibility: Open to Westmoreland County residents enrolled in Medicaid and in in need of non-emergency transportation related to medical appointments and prescriptions.
Hours: Scheduling Office Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 4:00pm

Service Hours: Monday through Friday, 7:00am to 7:00pm and Saturday, 7:00am to 4:00pm

Intake Procedure: Call the Scheduling Office to register for services.
Geographical Area: All of Westmoreland County plus a 5-mile buffer zone around the County.

An exception to the service area is available for trips to Pittsburgh. Travel to the Pittsburgh area is limited. Travel to the Pittsburgh area is permitted Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, with an arrival time of 9:00am and a departure time between 2:00pm and 3:00pm
Helpful Tips: Trips require advance reservation. You may schedule a trip as far ahead as two weeks in advance. The latest that you can call to arrange a ride for the next day is at least one business day in advance before 12:00pm. For trips on Saturday or Monday, the latest you can call to arrange a ride is Friday before 12:00pm.
