Washington County Courthouse - Public Defender
Provides legal defense to eligible adults and juvenile clients for all criminal charges filed in Washington County. Handles indigent cases only.
Eligibility: Crime has to have been committed in Washington County regardless of where the client resides.
Hours: Monday through Friday, 9:00am to 4:30pm; closed for lunch 12:00pm to 1:00pm

Fee Amounts: Services provided free of charge to eligible clients.
Intake Procedure: Must come to office and obtain proper forms that need to be filed. In case of juvenile, parents file the forms.
Intake Requirements: Proof of income; arrest documents and copy of charges against client.
