Provides emergency relief for bills and rent to prevent termination or eviction as well as offers assistance for security deposits. Can also help with car repairs by purchasing replacement car parts (up to $250), but will not cover the cost of labor.

Intake Procedure: Visit in person to apply. Call for additional information.
Intake Requirements: Must complete an online financial literacy class and application.

Documentation of utility/rent arrears or lease detailing required deposit amount.
Geographical Area: Must be a resident of Butler County or the following zip codes in northern Allegheny County: 15005, 15006, 15007, 15014, 15015, 15024, 15030, 15032, 15044, 15049, 15051, 15065, 15075, 15076, 15084, 15086, 15090, 15091, 15101, 15116, 15127, 15143, 15237, 15238, 16059
Helpful Tips: If utility service has been terminated or has a shut-off notice the Lighthouse is not able to assist. If there is an eviction notice in place we are not able to assist. Lighthouse will not offer rental assistance to those living in subsidized housing.
