Investigates reports of child abuse and neglect and through investigation take steps to protect children. Steps will be taken to preserve families when possible.

Also recruits families to provide foster care.
Eligibility: Serves Lawrence County residents.

Anyone can call to report suspected abuse or neglect of a child.
