Johnstown, Saint Michael's - Partial Hospitalization Program
Provides intensive psychiatric and therapeutic treatment for adolescents while allowing them to remain at home with parents. Patients attend Monday through Friday (based on a traditional school day). Days are structured primarily in group therapy, with individual therapy services available. Staff monitor prescribed medications under the guidance of a licensed psychiatrist. Patients also take part in an educational program designed to keep them on track academically while being treated for their mental health needs.
Eligibility: Youth and young adults ages 12 to 18 with a psychiatric condition that puts them at risk for inpatient hospitalization or residential treatment.
Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 4:00pm

Intake Procedure: Referrals are accepted from physicians, mental health professionals, educators, child welfare and juvenile probation workers, and parents.

A referral will be followed up by an intake appointment and evaluation.
