Pittsburgh - SOY (Supporting Our Youth)
Assists improvement of academic outcomes for Latino youth, while simultaneously building students’ pride in their native language and heritage. Program goals include academic advancement, cultural empowerment, social-emotional development, and family engagement. Students who participate in SOY Pgh also receive a snack and dinner daily.
Eligibility: Latino students who attend Pittsburgh Beechwood Elementary School or live around East Liberty.
Hours: Monday through Friday, 2:45pm to 6:00pm
