Works with landlords and tenants to make sure their homes and apartments are safe through enforcement of public health regulations.

Responds to complaints and inspects rental units for health hazards including no heat or insufficient heat in winter; lack of hot water; ongoing problems with the plumbing; leaks in the roof; and pest Infestations. Also responds to complaints for exterior property issues, water holding containers, and other public health hazards effecting neighborhoods.
Eligibility: Allegheny County residents.
Hours: Office Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:30am to 4:30pm.

24-hour emergency service.
