Visit the website or call for details and instructions for applying
through a Community Based Organization (CBO).
Customers of some utility companies can complete part or all of the application on the Dollar Energy Fund website.

Intake Requirements:
A) Names, birthdates, Social Security Numbers, and proof of income
for everyone in the household
B) Account number and copy of the most recent utility bill for which applicant is seeking assistance
C) Proof of all payments made in the last 90 days

Geographical Area:
Serves customers of various utility companies in all Pennsylvania
counties except Philadalphia.
Helpful Tips:
If applicants are eligible and programs are open, they MUST apply
for LIHEAP and CRISIS before applying for the Dollar Energy Fund
Hardship Program.
Grant size, eligibility guidelines, program dates, and application process vary by utility company. Not all utility companies participate in the program.
Please note that some funds are available only in cases where service is shut off or if there is a shut off notice.
