Investigates reports of abuse, neglect (including self-neglect), abandonment, or financial exploitation of older adults and those younger than age 60 with disabilities.

Trained protective service investigators work to eliminate danger, assuring that older adults are in the safest and least-restrictive living situations.
Eligibility: Serves Lawrecence County residents, age 60 and older and those under age 60 with disabilities.

Individuals may call for themselves or on behalf of an older adult they believe to be in danger.
