Eligibility:
Allegheny County residents, age 18 and older, who meet additional
eligibility criteria. Ex-offenders are welcome.

Service is provided free of charge.
Intake Requirements:
A) High school diploma or GED.
B) Must be drug free.
C) Valid driver’s license preferred.
D) Must be or become a registered voter (waived for individuals who are not US citizens).
E) 11th-grade math competency based on the TABE test.

Helpful Tips:
Successful graduates with a letter of recommendation are guaranteed
interviews with Sheet Metal Workers Local 12, Steamfitters Local
449, and IBEW Local 5 (must place in the top 20% on the entrance
exam). Graduates are guaranteed entry into LIUNA (Laborers) Western
District.
