Eligibility:
Allegheny County residents who are:
A) Pregnant individuals
B) Breastfeeding individuals or bottle-feeding individuals who recently had a baby
C) Infants up to 1 year of age
D) Children up to 5 years of age
E) A custodial father, foster parent, or legal guardian of a child up to age 5

Fee Amounts:
There is no fee to enroll in WIC. Participants are required to meet
income guidelines of 185% of poverty (or lower) to qualify. People
can be adjunctively eligible if they receive Medical Assistance,
TANF, or SNAP.
Intake Procedure:
There are four ways to get started with WIC:
A) Visit the intake website and complete an online pre-application

C) Call to request an appointment

Once you submit your application, WIC staff will contact you to set an appointment for you to get enrolled.

TeleWIC appointments occur on Mondays and Fridays. These are
virtual appointment options for those who cannot attend an
in-person WIC appointment. No in-person appointments occur on
Mondays or Fridays.
