Fee Amounts: There is no fee to enroll in WIC. Participants are required to meet income guidelines of 185% of poverty (or lower) to qualify. People can be adjunctively eligible if they receive Medical Assistance, TANF, or SNAP.

Intake Procedure: There are four ways to get started with WIC:

A) Visit the intake website and complete an online pre-application

C) Call to request an appointment

D) Stop by one of the WIC Clinics to pick up a paper application. WIC Clinic locations can be found here: https://www.alleghenycounty.us/Services/Health-Department/Clinics-and-Facilities/Women-Infants-and-Children-Clinics

Once you submit your application, WIC staff will contact you to set an appointment for you to get enrolled.

Helpful Tips: TeleWIC appointments occur on Mondays and Fridays. These are virtual appointment options for those who cannot attend an in-person WIC appointment. No in-person appointments occur on Mondays or Fridays.
