Administrative Office, Pittsburgh - Certified Peer Specialist
Offers connection to a Certified Peer Specialist (CPS), who is an individual with lived mental health experience who has been trained and certified in the state of Pennsylvania on how to assist others in recovery and wellness.

Certified Peer Specialists can:

A) Assist in the development of strengths-based individual goals

B) Serve as an advocate, mentor, or facilitator for resolution of issues that a peer is unable to resolve on their own

C) Help to develop community supports

D) Provide education on ways to maintain personal wellness and recovery

E) Provide education on navigating the mental health system
Eligibility: Allegheny County residents 18 years of age or older with a mental health diagnosis.
Hours: Office Hours: Monday through Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm
