Center for Substance Abuse - Treatment Accountability (TASC)
Screens clients to determine treatment/non-treatment needs. Provide supportive counseling and assistance with referrals. Provide re-entry services for the substance abusing/dependent client who is transitioning from incarceration or fulfilling criminal justice mandates. Monitor drug/alcohol use by performing breathalyzer tests and urine drug screens and report the results to the assigned probation officer or designee of the Court. Provide case management services to clients who have been in the criminal justice system. Case management provides linkage to treatment facilities if identified; recovery support services including; tangible needs (food, clothing); community resources (self-help groups); various housing needs; education; employment and training; and medical care.
Eligibility: Individuals involved with the criminal justice system.
Hours: Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday, 8:30am to 8:15pm
Tuesday, 8:30am to 4:30pm
Friday, 8:00am to 4:00pm
