Shelter and Day Services - Winter Shelter
Provides overnight shelter for up to 25 individuals who are experiencing homelessness during the winter.
Eligibility: Serves adults (age 18 and older) in Allegheny County. Accepts all gender identities.

This space cannot accept those required to register on Megan’s Law.
Hours: Present between 10:00am and 2:00pm for intake at Light of Life.

Entry begins at 7:00pm.

Fee Amounts: Services provided free of charge.
Intake Procedure: Present directly at the shelter for admittance.

It is preferred, but not required for those who need a bed to present between 10:00am and 2:00pm for intake at Light of Life.
Geographical Area: Allegheny County
Helpful Tips: Serves dinner and breakfast. Guests have access to a shower. Will be assisted with transportation by shelter, if needed. Can access drop in center during the day to remain inside. Guests can store a small amount of items in a storage bin if planning to stay the next evening.
